Beautiful Olympian – Shirtless Swimmer Aaron Peirsol

Obviously I am becoming a huge fan of the American Swimming team! Not only they are great athletes, they are also very very very good looking and definitely HOT! Another on in my list is the recent Beijing Olympics 2008 100m Backstroke gold winner in Men’s division Aaron Peirson! He finished to an Olympic record of 1:54.95. On August 16, 2008 he also won the 100 m Backstroke with the time of 54.06. He also was a part of the 4×100 m Medley, men’s division who won by a World Record of 3:29.34.

His full name is Aaron Wells Peirsol and was born July 23, 1983 in Irvine, California Peirsol participated in the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics, and 2008 Summer Olympics, capturing a total of seven medals. He is best known for sweeping the gold medals in the backstroke at the Athens games.

Peirsol is a student-athlete at the University of Texas, although he considers Newport Beach, California, home. Aaron and his sister’s first swim team was at the NCMY (Newport Costa Mesa YMCA). After leaving NCMY, he trained with the Irvine NovAquatics. He trains with fellow world record holders and gold medalists Ian Crocker, Brendan Hansen, and Neil Walker under the guidance of Eddie Reese. Aaron is also known for his diversity in events other than backstroke such as butterfly and middle distance freestyle.
